Roadklahoma OK-72
Southern Terminus: US-266, south of Council Hill

The first northbound assurance sign (at left, click for larger version) mislabels OK-72 as a US highway. Unfortunately, this is not the only instance on this road. Most of the junction signs along US-266 had US-72 shields, as did most of the shields in Haskell. There were work crews at the southern terminus when I snapped these pictures, but I'd be willing to bet they weren't there to change the signs.

Northern terminus: OK-51, Coweta

There is no 'End' sign at this terminus, nor directional signs for OK-51. Thanks to that railroad bridge, there's not much room for them.

Southern terminus pictures taken 21 January 2003. Northern terminus picture taken 1 December 2002.
