Southern Terminus: US-64, just west of the Arkansas
State Line
This intersection is a simplified trumpet interchange. Continuing straight
ahead loops around to eastbound 64, but eastbound 64 traffic does a regular
left turn to get onto 64D, as the picture at right shows (click on it for
a larger version). Also note that the BGS is showing 64D as a US highway instead
of a state highway.
Northern Terminus: I-40, immediately west of Arkansas State Line
This intersection is a simplified trumpet interchange. Continuing straight
ahead loops around to eastbound 64, but eastbound 64 traffic does a regular
left turn to get onto 64D, as the picture at right shows (click on it for
a larger version). Also note that the BGS is showing 64D as a US highway instead
of a state highway. Northern Terminus: I-40, immediately west of Arkansas State Line
The road makes a left just beyond the hill (as the yellow
sign in the distance shows), and crosses I-40 on the state line. In fact,
the westbound exit for this same road is on the Arkansas side of the border.
