SouthSouthern Terminus: Country Side Rd, Hanna
The road continues on, but as you can see,
it quickly turns to a gravel road. There is no 'End' sign at this terminus.
Northern terminus: OK-9, 4 miles north of Hanna

Sidebar: The two 52's are obviously
not connected to each other, but they used to be at one time. My state road
map from 1972 shows the two highways connecting. The midsection was,
and still is, a badly-maintained dirt road, as seen in the pic at left.
When southern 52 reached OK-9, the two roads were duplexed for about a mile,
then 52 turned and went up this road. You can see why the midsection has
been decommissioned. Pictures taken 10 December 2002.
