Roadklahoma OK-74 (south)
Southern Terminus: OK-7, west of Alpers

For a reason why the road has a preference to turn to the north, see the sidebar below.

Northern Terminus: I-35 Exit 104, north of Goldsby

The interstate is just over the hill.

Sidebar: The two OK-74's were connected as recently as the early 70s. My 1972 road map shows 74 coming into OKC along May Ave., becoming duplexed with OK-3 at the Northwest Expressway, turning east at 29th St, then south along Western (where the duplexing with OK-3 ended), then along Robinson in Norman until it reaches I-35, where it traveled along the interstate until it crossed the South Canadian River, and left I-35 at Goldsby, where the southern portion of OK-74 now begins.
