Southern Terminus: US-62, east of Okmulgee
The junction signs on US-62 refer to this as Loop-56, but the assurance signs on this end of the Loop itself refer to the highway as just OK-56, minus the 'Loop'. Looking from over Okmulgee with the center of town being the center of a clock, this end of the loop would be at 3:00, and road going counterclockwise along the edge of the clock to the northern terminus, at 12:00.
Northern terminus: US-75, north of Okmulgee
