you can just barely see the "End" sign. Historic Route 66 actually goes
to the left, southward towards Oklahoma. Left: the first assurance sign eastbound. |
Eastern Terminus: Missouri State Line, continues
as MO-66
Missouri Highway Patrol (or sheriff's office;
it was a black-and-white with lights on top) sitting on the other side
of the street off to the left of the picture, so I felt it prudent not
to park on the Missouri side to take a picture of the Kansas side. Maybe
next time...
